Alfiya Battalova, PhD

Research & Evaluation

I am an academic researcher and program evaluation specialist with expertise in disability studies, health professions education, and community-based research. My work bridges scholarship and practice, with a focus on advancing equity, inclusion, and accessibility for marginalized communities.

Over the course of my career, I have contributed to peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and collaborative research projects that center lived experiences and participatory approaches. My professional journey has been shaped by a commitment to advancing disability inclusion, equity, and social change through research and program evaluation. With a background in academic scholarship and community-based initiatives, I have worked across diverse contexts to bridge theory and practice. My research explores disability, health, education, and policy, while my evaluation work focuses on measuring impact and supporting organizations in creating meaningful improvements.
